About

G’day I’m Robbo

Red wine and pizza connoisseur, corporate prisoner and perpetual traveller. Voted least likely to travel at university, I have now travelled to 55 countries and counting. I currently live restlessly with my beautiful wife McGee (my travel partner-in-crime) and my dog Winston; impatiently awaiting my next adventure.

To lend from something I once read, there must be another option than the way we are normally living and we must believe that some brave few will find that option and tell us about it. I’m not yet one of those brave few but I want to be.

Robbo Worldtraveller tells stories of escape and a relentless desire to be lost to the perfect moment. I hope it inspires you to do the same.

  1. Hello Robbo, you found the blog where I write about photography. That is great. And you can be sure that photography is the only subject I ever discuss.
Now that I know about you I plan on wandering your site to view the subjects you post and read your thoughts about them.
    Nice to be in contact.

  2. Hello
Thanks for the follow, I’ve added your blog to my following list and look forward to reading about your travels. Just wondering what sort of vote you had at Uni that allowed your fellow students to mark you as someone that was most likely to stay put! It suggests you have changed since those day. I have always had a wandering spirit; as a child I would toddle off on my own and I was never homesick when I went on school camp and holidays.
    Happy travelling

  3. Welcome Robo traveler to daily Bible prayer! Love your writing style. Praying that God will use your travel and your gifts In writing about it to deepen your relationship with Him. And use the daily prayers based on scripture from the Bible to connect you in a meaningful way.

  4. I also share the traveling bug. I haven’t been as active in the last fifteen or so years, but like how you have this blog. Interesting article on the Pangolin! Thanks for visiting my blog, dogtown.blog by the way.

  5. Robbo,
Your about page inspired me to follow you because I am a homebody, and don’t travel much. I would probably like to, however bad things usually happen when I do, so I much rather read about YOUR travels, all snug and cozy by the wood-burning stove.
Looking forward to the next place you go!
